The story amazing, characters, amazing, they are funny and they also fit the game well. Second, the map is astonishing, obviously New York City, so it has the be beautiful. Niko Belic story is great, the charecter and its reasocers and developing along with the game, as well as all the cool things the game features and the two amazing endings. The game still has some bugs but these can be fixed with a mod called fusion fix.
There are multiple mods to improve gameplay and in-game experiences too. One of the best features of the game is its integration of music into the gameplay.
So when Niko steals a car, the radio stations are on, giving the players the autonomy to change channels, listening to over 19 different radio stations, with its own unique soundtrack and music. Apart from the songs, there are a number of real voice artists whose voices can be heard as radio station persons.
Apart from the gameplay, the actual storyline and the backstories are truly well-written and gives a lot of context to what is going on in the game. Like the other GTA games, this one too has spectacular graphics and the setting looks too real.
The play is exciting and one is always at the edge of the seat, trying to pass the next mission. The one big critique for GTA 4 , and for the other Grand Theft Auto games too, is that the story and the gameplay promote carjacking, kidnapping and various other illegal activities, doing which one can win missions and reach the end. The storyline and the backstories seem only too real, and the realistic nature of the game may have real-world repercussions. The other GTA games are perhaps the biggest competitors to GTA IV , as they have similar gameplay and missions, similar stories and themes, and almost the same tools that are needed to finish the game.
Grand Theft Auto 4 is another installment in the series that maintains the unique experience that started it all. Open world freedom is the highlight in this title. Epic moments are sprinkled all over this game. You play as Niko Bellic, a criminal of European descent, who escapes his home country to set foot in Liberty City. There, you meet his cousin Roman Bellic, who accompanies you throughout the game. You'll remember this character long after you finish because of his constant messages to go bowling.
Once you've started off, be prepared to meet a plethora of memorable characters. As the story continues, the game will shake things up with constant action and unexpected twists and turns throughout. But it doesn't stop there. Sure, the story is incredible, but what about your own decisions? And while those earlier games made you feel like you were in a city, none of them made you feel like you were in the city.
One of Rockstar's biggest goals is to change that and really nail the NYC feel. Fact is, we've been impressed by what we've seen. Graphically, it's a beaut. And since this is Rockstar's most ambitious re-creation of the metropolis yet, we wanted to see how far the developers have come to mimicking NYC. So we sent a photographer to try to match screens shot for shot. Let's see how close he came Make no mistake; GTA4 has impressed many doubters with its graphical splendor, delivering the series' first bona fide gawker.
But a pretty world can only serve to draw you in. It's the people who fill that world that make you want to stay, and that's where GTA4 has us most intrigued. More specifically, we focus our attention on Times Square, the most recognizable intersection on the planet and a bustling slice of human idiocy, both in the real and virtual world.
In the NYC pic, the corner and crosswalk teem with activity, with some people walking at a determined gait, others casually crossing the street. Most of all, their minds are on their own immediate destination. And you know what? While LC's square ain't as dense we really didn't expect it to mimic Manhattan's nearly 1. They're going about their own thing and, amazingly, aren't all copies of each other.
And don't forget the signage and stock-market ticker: The GTA-style satire makes its mark again. OK, we couldn't find an exact match for these NYC staples, but we have a good reason why besides LC's fuller trees--wrong season!
See those elevated tracks in the background? We know of no such tracks that have brownstones next to them.
