I apologise for the delayed response on this issue. Here i have done some research about the drivers, consulted my supervisor as well and would share the information that there are no Quickset drivers for this model. So apparently Dell couldn't be bothered to actually release Quickset for the computer I just bought. And without Quickset, I don't know of any other way to adjust the length of time the backlit keyboard stays on. My options at this point are to either return the computer, which seems a shame since everything else is working, or to try to find some hack that will let me do what I should already be able to do.
